Men's and women's teams heading to Mexico in search of places in the U16 basketball world championships

The men's under-16 basketball team, led by Alexis Cedres, will leave for Ciudad Juárez this Friday, May 30, where they will compete in the AmeriCup 2025, while the Venezuelan women's team led by David Durán, will start in Irapuato on June 13.

While the women will make their debut on Monday 16 against the United States, the boys will have to debut on Monday , June 2 against Canada.

Both teams were prepared at the National High Performance Center for Basketball “El Poliedrito” for these contests that distribute places for the world championship of the specialty.
