After criticizing the complicit silence of the Venezuelan right regarding the kidnapping of the girl Mikelys Espinoza by North American imperialism, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, pointed out that the rescue of this Venezuelan woman, who was only two years old, represents a great victory for the people.

“The Revolutionary Forces have a million in morale! We came from a great victory, built on the morality and solidarity of an entire people, and North American imperialism had no choice but to return Maikelys, who was kidnapped there in the United States,” he stressed.

From the city of Mérida in the state of the same name, the emotion that overwhelmed the Venezuelan people when they heard of the return of Maikelys stood out.

“The embrace we gave to Mikelys represents for us the loving embrace that we should always give each other, but also, the combative embrace that we never abandon anyone,” he said.
