More than 95% of Venezuelans want to live in peace, while more than 85% reject the sanctions that imperialism, at the request of the right, have imposed on our country, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

“All Venezuelans dream of prosperity, that we are able to produce, that in Venezuela there is work for everyone and there is absolutely no need. However, there are those who want evil for this country, who from the opposition leadership never tire of asking for sanctions against this town,” he said during a campaign activity in the Libertador municipality of Mérida.

In this regard, he pointed out that despite the sanctions, the Venezuelan people have not given up and have stood firm in defense of the Homeland.

“In these remaining 8 days of the campaign, we are going to knock on everyone's door and we tell them, we speak clearly, because revolutionaries have real arguments about what is happening in Venezuela,” he instructed while recalling the efforts of President Nicolás Maduro to obtain medicines to treat patients with Covid-19 during the pandemic.

In the same way, he stressed that the People's Power together with the different instances of Government must work hand in hand to resolve the different difficulties that may arise in the different communities.
