Metropolitanos FC qualified for the CONMEBOL South American Cup Group Stage, after defeating Carabobo FC 5-4 on penalties.

The match played at the Misael Delgado Stadium in Valencia ended in a 1-1 tie, so the winner was defined on penalties.
