Mexico: AMLO will ask the Mexican Public Prosecutor's Office to release the details of the Colosio case

The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he will ask the Attorney General's Office (FGR) to release all the details of the investigation into the assassination of the politician of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and former presidential candidate, Luis Donaldo Colosio, which occurred 30 years ago.

During a meeting with the media, the Mexican president said: “I'm going to ask you at the time, only that you pass the election, with all respect for your autonomy and putting it under your consideration, and if you don't mind doing so, that here, the attorney general (Alejandro Gertz Manero) release the entire investigation. That's transparency”,.

Previously, AMLO noted that it is important that you submit the information so that such a murder does not happen again.

In context, on March 23, 1994, a man shot in the head of someone who wanted to be president of Mexico for the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

The authorities insisted that the culprit had been a man named Mario Aburto, however, so far the situation has not been clarified
