The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) of the Bolivar state began the first day of the training cycle “Microelectronics for Robots”, a program designed to introduce young people and children to the fascinating world of robotics.

This first day was attended by 42 young people between the ages of 14 and 16, from the Alfredo Maneiro Industrial Technical School, located in the Dalla Costa parish of the Caroní municipality.

Participants had the opportunity to learn fundamental concepts about alternating current and direct current, passive and active components in electronics, main parts of robots, laws of robotics, study of the control module of a robot, analysis of sensors and actuators, types of robots and their applications.

This training cycle is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT) to promote scientific and technological education in Venezuela, aligned with the policies of the Bolivarian Government to strengthen scientific and technical knowledge among new generations.

Educational robotics promotes creativity, critical thinking and prepares young people to face the challenges of an increasingly technological world.
