This Thursday, Javier Milei arrived in Madrid, the capital of Spain, for his second visit since taking office last December at a time of great diplomatic tension between the European nation and Argentina.

The friction between President Pedro Sánchez and Milei began after the inauguration, when King Felipe VI moved to Buenos Aires without the company of any minister in the current Government.

Tension escalated to its peak after Milei's first visit, last May, when he called Sánchez's wife corrupt, an incident that led to the definitive withdrawal of the Spanish ambassador in Buenos Aires.

The Argentine president once again charged Pedro Sánchez, whom he called a “coward”, and even compared him to Nicolás Maduro, during an interview with the Argentine television channel TN.
