The demonstrators who took to the streets of Argentina in rejection of the labor reform promoted by the administration of Javier Milei were suppressed by the country's security forces.

Over the past 24 hours, the repression of the Argentine police has been increasing, with at least 300 injured, 31 arrested and 70 people under investigation, while Congress was debating rights that would take away the working class, in the reform being debated among parliamentarians.

The Minister of Security, Alejandra Monteoliva, deployed an operation with more than 800 personnel to face the massive protest with tear gas and rubber bullets.

The situation is becoming more intense because the Argentine Senate gave the green light this Thursday to Milei's labor reform by 42 votes to 30. This action comes after 14 hours of debate, international media report.
