MINCULTURA held a day of comprehensive care for older adults in La Vega

With the objective of coordinating comprehensive care for older adults in the La Veguita Commune, in the La Vega parish of Caracas, authorities from the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MINCULTURA) held a meeting with spokespersons of the popular power of the area.

The activity was led by the Minister of Culture, Raúl Cazal, and Deputy Minister Gabriela Simoza, who took a tour of the community to assess needs and collect proposals related to the care of this prioritized sector.

During the meeting, Cazal highlighted the permanent deployment of the Bolivarian Government in coordination with community organizations to accompany the management of popular power in the territory.

For their part, community representatives valued the visit positively and highlighted the local organization, as well as the coordination between community councils, health committees and social structures oriented to the care of older adults.

The day was also accompanied by cultural expressions of the community, in a festive atmosphere marked by traditional events on the eve of the celebrations of Saint John the Baptist.
