MINCYT trained teachers from La Guaira in science and pedagogy

Educators from the state of La Guaira received training from the Ministry for Science and Technology on scientific knowledge, pedagogy and critical thinking.

The attendees gathered in the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán auditorium of the Didactic Center for Science Teaching, where conventional blackboards were set aside so that teachers could become true architects of critical thinking.

According to a press release, during the day, teachers delved into the construction of content anchored to social reality, rescuing the pedagogical legacy of universal figures such as Simón Rodríguez, Andrés Bello and the Belarusian psychologist, Lev Vygotsky.

The training highlighted the importance that classrooms must be transformed into idea laboratories, where the main engine is curiosity and the teacher, the guide for limitless exploration.

During the closing of the activity, teachers ratified their commitment to training a generation of “eternal learners”.
