The Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing (MINHVI) held a meeting with the Venezuelan Real Estate Chamber to establish a joint agenda of technical and union assistance, with the purpose of designing housing alternatives for those affected by the earthquakes that occurred on June 24 in the central area of Venezuela, with priority given to care for the state of La Guaira.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, members of the real estate sector expressed their total commitment to joining technical teams aimed at structuring community solutions.

In addition, in the face of the emergency that the central coast is experiencing, the Venezuelan Chamber of Construction , the Oil Chamber and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) created a strategic coalition to implement an immediate response plan and plan long-term reconstruction efforts.

This coordinated initiative has already generated the first operational results where a web platform was set up with 196 experts in the area (such as architects and engineers) and an inventory of more than 500 pieces of heavy and light machinery ready to be deployed.
