Minister Cabello reported that arrested terrorists have ties to imprisoned negative leaders

The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during his participation as a guest in the program “With Maduro+”, highlighted the links that exist between arrested mercenaries and organized crime groups, as has happened in previous plans defeated by the country's security agencies.

“They are repeating the same script, because when we captured the first three involved in this terrorist operation with grenades, on their phones we found the name of José Miguel Estrada, who is serving a sentence for attempted assassination against President Nicolás Maduro and they had planned operations in several prisons in the country to release a group of prisoners through controlled explosions, so we have 14 gang leaders investigated for appearing in this plan who were going to repeat it now,” Cabello stressed.

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, confirmed the confiscation of another important batch of weapons in the hands of criminal groups.
