The popular power minister for Internal Relations Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the absence of homicides in Los Valles del Tuy in Miranda state in four and a half months is a situation that “fills us with deep joy”.
“Last night we carried out a security tour in that sector and reported that in four and a half months there has been no homicide,” he said.
He specified that this Friday night we went out to Filas de Mariches, which is a sector of good and hardworking people, and that's where we connected to the Valles del Tuy.”
“We reviewed and there was the coordinator of the police services in the area who gave the information (...) This is for reflection and to demonstrate that we can do things,” he said while stressing the importance of the Popular-Military-Police Fusion as a central axis to guarantee peace and security throughout the national territory.
“This is the work of a team that is made up of police agencies, firefighters, civil protection and also the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and our people,” he pointed out while explaining that in Los Valles del Tuy there are 131 peace quadrants that are ready.
He pointed out that the same situation occurs in Petare where there were 38 cameras and now there are more than 600, which allows us to act even without the person calling: “it's the peace of mind of our people”.
He recalled that the people of Valles del Tuy have always been singled out for their humble origin, so he reiterated that news such as the reduction of crimes to zero “gives us immense joy because it means that we are doing the work where it is needed”.
