Minister Cabello: We are building real Peace Quadrants, not paper

The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a working day in the state of Bolívar together with the president in charge Delcy Rodriguez, stressed that 230 Peace Quadrants have been established in that entity for the security and protection of citizens.

“According to the order given by President Maduro and ratified by you, we have equipped a van or vehicle according to the characteristics of the road and two motorized units so that each peace quadrant has 1 patrol and eight motorcycles as well as communications equipment so that municipalities can call 911 when they have problems obtaining answers according to the emergency,” he said.

He pointed out that patrol and motorized units do not belong to police agencies but to communal circuits, so they will not be able to carry out work outside their jurisdiction.

“Because we are building real peace quadrants, not paper ones, to consolidate peace in the territory,” said Minister Cabello,
