Minister Cabello: We guarantee the safety and tranquility of the people

State security forces are deployed throughout the national territory to guarantee the tranquility of the Venezuelan people, said the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“Our commitment is to guarantee not only maximum safety against crime, but also the tranquility and well-being of every Venezuelan,” said Cabello during the inauguration of the “Francisco de Miranda” Road Assistance Module, located in the border area between the states of Miranda and Aragua.

He stressed that officials from the Bolivarian National Police, Civil Protection, Firefighters, Bolivarian National Guard and other security agencies will be present in this space, who are responsible for assisting citizens on every stretch of the road. “When a Venezuelan sees a patrol car or a police officer, they should feel that their friends are there, who guarantee their safety and peace of mind,” he said.

He specified that the module has public bathrooms, rest areas for families, permanent medical assistance, surveillance patrols, ambulances and cranes for free assistance to drivers.

“This is the second space we inaugurated on the Regional Highway of the Center, in the direction of Caracas, designed to address any contingency and offer a comprehensive service to those who travel along this road,” said the minister.

Finally, he reported that other modules are scheduled to be inaugurated in the state of La Guaira, some of them with maritime equipment and boats to assist tourists during busy periods, such as Carnival, Holy Week and the holiday season.
