Minister Ceballos: National Risk Management System maintains fire control in the country

During a day of the Mobile Court, this Thursday, the Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, reported that through the National Risk Management System (SNGR), control is maintained in the direct fight against forest fires, recently registered in the country.

“We have liquidated, controlled and constantly refreshed, the different places affected by the fires, in addition to carrying out patrolling tasks for direct and permanent observation of these areas,” he said.

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, also detailed the arrest of 16 people in different parts of the territory, who allegedly caused these damages. “We have intelligence work, which has allowed us to arrest these people,” he said.

In criminal matters, he reiterated that citizen security bodies will continue to support the application of sanctions to those who unscrupulously engage in this or other action that affects the life of the ecosystem and the population.

It is worth mentioning that this Thursday the multipurpose units of the different entities of the National Risk Management System were deployed to carry out active monitoring and combat against forest fires that occur in the Bolivarian state of Miranda and the Capital District.

Direct and permanent communication

In the same way, the highest authority of Public Security indicated that direct and permanent communication is maintained between competent bodies and representatives of organized People's Power, for care for the benefit of affected communities.

He also reported that the VEN 9 1 line is available to citizens, through which an immediate response is provided to any emergency.

Conscience and Civil Responsibility

Finally, the Sectorial Vice President for Public Safety and Peace, urged the collective to take the necessary preventive measures to prevent the spread of fires in the country.

“It is necessary to become aware and strengthen co-responsibility between the State and civil society, to avoid agricultural burning, the burning of garbage in prohibited places and other actions that promote the deterioration of the ecosystem and affect the peace and tranquility of the people,” he concluded.
