Minister for Foreign Trade met with community members from the western region of the country

After her appointment as godmother of the productive communes of the western region, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, held a first meeting this Thursday with community members from Falcón and Zulia, together with the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, to design a road map at the service of the new diversified and sovereign economic model.

At the meeting, the head of this office learned about the benefits and productive potential of the communes of these entities.

“There is a world out there waiting for us,” said Godoy, who also highlighted the leading role and productive capacities of communal power, “we can't stay on raw materials, we have to add value,” he added, praising the quality of his products.

Positioning the quality and effort of communal production in the world was another topic discussed at this first meeting, which also highlighted the industrial link with the communal economy to enhance production processes.

“My commitment is absolute. I am a godmother at your service, serving the people in the territory. I respect and value very much the work that is done in the communes by the people of Venezuela. Count on me. This year of the Admirable Challenge Plan, there is an admirable people who take on that challenge,” he said.

“Everything we do, we do with President Nicolás Maduro present as our beacon of guidance and under the firm leadership of our president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez,” said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
