The Minister for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, oversaw this Wednesday, March 6, the expansion plan for technical schools, promoted by the Bolivarian Government, in order to consolidate professional technical education as a tool that promotes training according to the productive engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.

From the Liceo Nacional Peru de Lacroix, located in the parish of La Pastora, Caracas, which has an enrollment of 1,215 students, he highlighted that this is one of the seven dedicated to the mention of health that encompasses studies with regard to traumatology and orthopedics, oral health, health and recreation, laboratory technicians, as well as in the area of tourism.

During the day, in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he noted that 20 professional technical high schools are in Caracas.

In this regard, he indicated that the objective is to strengthen human talent dedicated to public policy that serves health in the country and to sow Venezuelan talent for the future.

During the tour, the needs of the study center were also evaluated, so that they can be addressed through the Military Community Brigades (BRICOMILES).

In this regard, he stressed that recovery work will be carried out on the court that is in the study center.

The goal of the aforementioned plan is for the year 2030, the creation of 2,002 Professional Technical Schools throughout the country and the implementation of 45 new areas of study, including: industries, hydrocarbons, socioeconomics, citizen prevention, physical education, health, art, among others.
