Minister González López visits operational units of the FANB in Yaracuy and Lara

In a deployment aimed at direct oversight and the strengthening of military operations, the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, GJ Gustavo González López inspected military tactical units and industries in the western region of the country.

GJ González López led these inspections with the objective of maintaining the operational and human excellence of the military body. His agenda included a visit to the military company Neumaticos del Alba. During the tour, he noted the capabilities of this strategic industry that it contributes to the national economy.

On the site, the senior military incumbent awarded decorations to the patriotic workforce, with high professional and specialized capacity. Thanks to this technical effort, the institution breaks the chain of external dependence; a fact that guarantees a high operational capacity of the units and the progress of the transport sector throughout the territory.

The minister also visited the Mechanized Infantry Battalion “Major General José Antonio Anzoátegu i”, in San Felipe. In this unit, he held a meeting with arms professionals, before whom he emphasized that institutional cohesion and discipline constitute the fundamental pillars of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

Historic Tactical Unit

In the same way, the occasion allowed the recognition of the merit, perseverance and spirit of service of the members of this historic Tactical Unit through the imposition of decorations.

The agenda continued in Barquisimeto, Lara state, where the senior military official went to the facilities of the 14th Mechanized Infantry Brigade and the GNB Zone Command No. 12. During his contact with the troops, he verified the high morale and cohesion of the men and women of the FANB.

These actions faithfully comply with the guidelines issued by the President (E) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Commander in Chief of the FANB, Delcy Rodríguez, which are aimed at maintaining the operational and human excellence of the military body.
