Minister Jiménez highlighted the work of the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities for the training of youth

The sectoral vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and
Health, and Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela
Jiménez Ramírez, explained that the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities has allowed young scientists to see beyond our
territories to understand space, constellations, the
solar system, the use of telecommunications and remote sensing.
“In this agency, a series of capacities have been generated in the country for urban planning, for dealing with climate change, for emergencies associated with floods, for State security,” said the Minister.
In particular, the first International Space Congress, held at the Teresa Carreño Theater, included presentations by 12 leading scientists from the People's Republic of China, Russia, Brazil and France, nations with which Venezuela has extensive cooperation and scientific exchange. In these 18 years, more than 2,000 Venezuelan women and scientists have been trained, thanks to these cooperation agendas
