The Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology reported that the Young Innovators initiative: Productive Opportunities Laboratory, a pilot plan aimed at transforming knowledge into applied solutions for productive sectors, was activated.
Minister Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez stressed that this program “opens a space for collective creation where our youth assume a leading role in national innovation”, referring to the educational scope of the project, which received more than 360 applications from young people interested in strengthening their capacities in strategic areas.
The plan includes two lines of training: Principles of Software and Food Science and Technology, Nutrition and Applied Biotechnology. In both, participants will develop competencies in ICTs and biotechnology, integrate multidisciplinary teams and design prototypes aimed at solving real needs of the productive sectors.
The minister stressed that this initiative is part of the vision shared with President (E) Delcy Rodríguez aimed at “converting knowledge into productive opportunities for the country, with youth as the engine of transformation”.
With this pilot plan, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to promote spaces for training, creation and experimentation that strengthen Venezuela's scientific and technological independence.
