Minister Loyo: National production and supply are at 100%

The Minister of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, met this Monday, April 28, with businessmen representing the Agrifood Engine for the regular monitoring of national production and supply.

“National production and supply are at 100%. We're still working, we're still winning!” , noted a publication by the entity through social networks. It was also announced that on April 26, teams from the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture held a working meeting with representatives of the Blue Crab processing plants “with the intention of evaluating the impact of the tariffs that the imperialist Government of the United States intends to impose on Venezuelan export products.”

In the same way, export quotas were evaluated according to their presentation (fresh and frozen) by company, which confirmed the need to take the necessary measures to preserve the species (Blue Crab), as well as respect for the minimum price to the fisherman.

With these actions, Venezuela strengthens trade relations between productive engines, in the area of fishing and aquaculture, and promotes the economic diversification of the Homeland.
