Minister Márquez supervised optimization work at the Central Plant to strengthen the SEN

In order to monitor progress in the maintenance and optimization plans of the National Electric System (SEN), the People's Power Minister for Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, carried out a technical inspection this Tuesday at the Central Thermoelectric Plant (Central Plant), located in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state.

During the tour, together with the president of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), José Luis Betancourt, Minister Márquez, evaluated the operability of the generation units and coordinated the necessary maneuvers to increase the capacity of this infrastructure, considered one of the most important in the country.

In his meeting with the workers of CORPOELEC, he valued their work to contribute to the stability of the service and guarantee a reliable energy supply to the central and western region of Venezuela.

This day of supervision is part of the lines of action instructed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to protect the country's electricity grid.
