The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Ali Padrón, reported that the arrival of international visitors to the country has experienced a significant increase of 202% so far this year, with the arrival of 1,95,000 tourist arrivals, compared to 2023, reflecting the trust that foreign travelers place in Venezuela as a tourist destination.
In this regard, through his account on the social network X, Padrón published a video, in which you can see images of visitors who enjoyed the country's tourist beauty, from the Caribbean beaches to the imposing tepuyes in the Canaima National Park, so tourism has become one of the secret weapons for economic recovery.
In 2023, the tourism sector had already reached more than 1,250,000 international arrivals. However, this year, the numbers are still rising.
He described the potential of Venezuela as a tourist destination despite sanctions and disinformation campaigns against the nation. “We have demonstrated our resilience and the ability to overcome any adversity,” he said.
Through the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, the Bolivarian Government celebrates this significant achievement and reaffirms its commitment to promote Venezuela as a first-rate destination, where more than one million international visitors are expected to arrive in the coming years.
