Minister Pérez Pirela paid posthumous tribute to teacher Renato Aguirre

The people of Zulia, together with the sectoral vice-president of Communication and Culture, Miguel Pérez Pirela, paid posthumous homage to the teacher Renato Aguirre González, the “Diamond Poet”, with a Eucharist and a concert at the Basilica of Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia.
The work of Baluarte Aguirre was an act of absolute devotion where music and poetry rose as a gesture of unwavering faith towards La Chinita and her people, in which she became a beacon of Venezuelan culture, whose dedication and genius are an example of commitment to the roots of the nation and the sound heritage of the Bolivarian Revolution.
The activity was accompanied by the governor of the entity, Luis Caldera.
On his account on the social network Telegram, Minister Pérez Pirela said: “Today we say goodbye to the great Renato Aguirre, the “Diamond Poet”, one of the greatest composers in the history of bagpipes”.
“On behalf of President Delcy Rodríguez, I handed over to her family the Francisco de Miranda Presidential Order after mortem,” he said.
