Minister Pérez Pirela: The February 4th flag is still flying

Through his Telegram channel, the Minister of Popular Power for Communication and Information, Miguel Ángel Pérez Pirela, published a heartfelt message to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Civic-Military Rebellion of February 4, 1992.

“The fire that is born, lamp of the future. A living oath in the flame of eternal loyalty (...) The flag is still flying, today it is raised by a great woman, in this February 2026. For now and forever,” said Pérez Pirela.

He also recalled that from that insurrection led by Commander Hugo Chávez, the Bolivarian Revolution was born, which today marks the paths of the Fatherland, as the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has repeatedly stated.

“From that part of the waters where Chávez broke into history we come from. And President Nicolás Maduro said it well: 'we have a plan, a project, a flag', which since then, since 1992, has been leading the way for us,” he said.
