“The working class is setting an example in the defense of the Homeland,” said the Minister of Popular Power for the Social Work Process, Eduardo Piñate, during the National Enlistment Day.

Piñate emphasized that this action responds to the call of the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, to enlist in defense of the homeland in the face of coercive threats and psychological warfare by imperialism.

“The response has been overwhelming and massive. All sectors of the country have joined together: workers, peasants, fishermen, businessmen, revolutionary and opposition parties. Because the defense of Venezuela summons us all, without ideological distinction,” he said.

Piñate emphasized that the working class not only guarantees productive continuity, but also assumes its strategic role in national development with responsibility.

“We must continue to increase wealth production, consolidate economic and technological independence, and fulfill the tasks contained in the Homeland Plan. The working class is in charge of productive, industrial, agro-industrial, tourist, oil and petrochemical units,” he said.

The minister reiterated that millions of workers have joined the Bolivarian National Militia with conviction.

“With Nicolás Maduro at the helm, we continue to build the prosperity of the homeland and the well-being of the Venezuelan people,” he concluded.
