Minister Sánchez announced the installation of a work table to improve the dining room of the UCV

The Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, announced the installation of a working table between the governing body and the Secretariat of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) with the objective of strengthening the university dining service.

He specified that the meeting is scheduled for this Monday, February 2, and aims to establish good communication and coordination to guarantee the nutrition of the students of this house of studies.

Sánchez attributed the situation to lack of coordination and failures in the university's internal dialogue, hence the call includes the Dining Room User Commission, workers, nutritionists and physical plant equipment to optimize operational processes.

The minister stressed that the Bolivarian Government and the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, maintain a robust endowment policy through student measures. “We urge that communication levels be improved so that the service pays an efficient tribute to the model of free and quality public education,” he said.

Finally, the holder of the university portfolio assured that the Ministry's support will make it possible to overcome the institution's internal contradictions. In addition, he indicated that with this dialogue table, the authorities expect immediate results that will ensure the stability and strengthening of student benefits starting next week.

The measure responds to recent incidents, where a group of students were unable to access the lunch service.
