The Minister of Popular Power for
Culture, Ernesto Villegas, invited the tribute and collective singing on the occasion
of the birthday of the Venezuelan singer Cecilia Todd, which will also serve as
the christening of her new production Casi de Puro Soñarte.
“I invite you! Tribute —more than deserved— to
Cecilia Todd,” Villegas wrote through her Telegram channel.
The activity will take place on Wednesday, March
4, starting at 3:00 in the afternoon, at the Casa de la Libertad y la
Cultura Ali Primera, also known as the San Carlos Barracks, located on Panteón Avenue, Altagracia Parish in Caracas.
The artistic meeting will be a space to celebrate the musical legacy of Todd, a Venezuelan interpreter of folk and traditional music with a career of more than five decades, whose most recent musical project includes the album Casi de Puro Soñarte, released in December 2025.
