Minister Villegas regrets the physical departure of teacher Juan Carlos Núñez

Through the social network X, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, extended his condolences for the physical departure of the teacher Juan Carlos Núñez, who won the National Music Award twice.

“On a sad note, #15Jul, National Day of Choral Singing, begins this Monday: Maestro Juan Carlos Núñez, twice the National Music Award, left for eternity today. The Great Mission Viva Venezuela and @minculturave accompanied him in his battle for health and now we join the feeling of regret that grieves his families, loved ones, disciples and traveling companions,” he said.

He also highlighted the pride that all of Venezuela should feel, “to have given birth to an artist of his stature, one of the great musicians of all time.”

He recalled that Maestro Núñez was born in Caracas in 1947 and was a composer, conductor, pianist and arranger.
