Minister Vladímir Padrino López: Venezuela has its food insured

The Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands (MPPAPT), Vladímir Padrino López, highlighted the social cohesion of the Venezuelan people and the comprehensive care that is deployed in the temporary camps.
In this regard, in a publication on the website of the National Radio of Venezuela (RNV), he specifies that from Liceo Andrés Bello, the minister reiterated that the national agro-industry continues to work with all its inputs and raw materials.
“We can tell the people of Venezuela that their food is guaranteed,” he said and reaffirmed that, in the face of the difficult time the country is going through, full supply is guaranteed.
He also stressed that the planting of corn for the winter cycle 2026 continues to be in full development without any problems.
He emphasized that the priority of the national Government is to make staying in these temporary shelters as comfortable and humane as possible. “We are making every effort to make this care comprehensive, so that families can happily return to their homes,” he said.
The minister said that the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, has worked to reach the soul of all the people affected by the tragedy that grieves the country. “And here we are giving an answer and giving our face to the people so that as soon as possible we can get out of this trance,” he said.
During a tour of the school, located in Caracas, which houses 96 families affected by the earthquakes, the minister explained that this temporary camp has become a center for recreation and culture for children, whose activities help to heal emotional wounds.
He indicated that rehabilitation work is continuing on the educational infrastructure to ensure decent and optimal conditions.
In addition, he underscored the strength of the Venezuelan people in the midst of these complex moments. “We have demonstrated that we are a cohesive country, capable of responding to any adversity,” he stressed.
He added that the National Executive is present to accompany families who are affected and in pain after the double earthquake of last June 24.
