Ministry for Culture opened calls for literary biennials of dramaturgy and theatrical rehearsal

The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture opened the calls for the III National Biennial of Apacuana Literature 2026, in the Dramaturgy mention, and the III César Rengifo National Literature Biennial 2026, in the Theatrical Essay mention, whose reception of works will remain open until June 30.
According to information from the Ministry for Culture, the call is aimed at Venezuelan and foreign authors residing in the country who submit unpublished, original works free of editorial commitments or rights with third parties.
The winners of each category will receive a unique prize of one million bolivars, in addition to the publication of the work under the seal of Monte Ávila Editores Latinoamericana. In the case of the mention Dramaturgy, the selected work will also be staged by the National Theater Company.
