Ministry of Energy oversees SEN facilities in Barinas

The People's Power Minister for Electric Energy, Rolando Alcalá,
led an exhaustive day of technical inspections at
hydroelectric power plants, generation plants and electrical substations in the
state of Barinas, rigorously complying with the instructions
issued by the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
The
holder of the Electric Energy portfolio was accompanied by the
president of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), José Luis
Betancourt, with whom he coordinated the technical and operational evaluations of the Juan Antonio Rodríguez Domínguez and
Masparro Hydroelectric Power Plants; as well as
the Barinas IV and Varyná 115 kV substations; and the Thermobarrancas Plant, according to a press release from the ministerial portfolio.
The deployment was characterized by an
environment of high morale and commitment, where the authorities
inspected the restoration of the sloping walls of the discharge channels (slope), perimeter fence, maintenance of the
bridge, beautification of the infrastructure, construction of a dining room and warehouse.
They also supervised improvements in
the access road and maintenance of the power transformers,
to ensure the operability and safety of the facilities.
