Ministry of Health accounts for more than 2,800 surgeries in Barinas so far this year

More than 2,800 surgeries, including scheduled interventions, emergency procedures and cases managed through the 1×10 Good Governance system, have been performed so far this year at the Dr. Luis Razetti hospital in Barinas.

This was reported by the Ministry of People's Power for Health, through a balance sheet that details the promotion of care with a human approach, strengthening the National Public Health System and guaranteeing the well-being of communities.

The director of the hospital, Dr. Juan Chávez, stressed that most of the surgeries correspond to procedures of medium and high complexity. He also highlighted the role of the medical and technical team, made up of highly trained professionals who, with vocation and dedication, guarantee timely and quality care to patients, the ministerial portfolio reported.

In addition to surgical interventions, the hospital has provided care to 33,976 people through the emergency service, evidencing the high demand and response capacity of the health center.
