Ministry of Health begins first phase of cataract surgery day in Guárico

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health reported that this weekend at the IVSS Darío Vivas Hospital, in San Juan de los Morros, Guárico, the first phase of the cataract surgery day began.
In a press release from the ministerial portfolio, the operation will run until Friday, March 13, with the purpose of restoring vision to a total of 300 Guariqueños.
This highly efficient deployment is supported by a specialized team from the Miracle Mission, which provides for the intervention of 44 patients daily.
The beneficiaries of this initial stage belong to the municipalities: Juan Germán Roscio Nieves, Ortiz, Julián Mellado, Francisco de Miranda and its central objective is to settle the surgical debt in ophthalmology and significantly improve the quality of life of older adults and patients with visual pathologies.
