The Ministry of People's Power for
Health deployed additional vaccination points against
yellow fever in the electoral centers authorized for the first National
Popular Consultation of 2026.
According to the publication of Venezolana
de Televisión (VTV), the special immunization day was carried out in
22 parishes in the four prioritized states (Lara, Aragua, Portuguesa and Barinas).
“We are intensifying some special
areas such as the state of Barinas, which has eight prioritized parishes,”
said Minister Nuramy Gutiérrez, while stressing that the primary objective is
to eradicate the circulation of the virus.
