Ministry of Health deploys care day in Cojedes

The National Public Health System (SPNS) of Cojedes deployed more than 100 health professionals this weekend with the purpose of providing care in the “Glorioso Cerro Buena Vista” communes of the Tinaquillo municipality, “Don Pedro Pérez” in Tinaco, “Supreme Commander” of Rómulo Gallegos, “José Antonio Anzoátegui” and the Commune” Vencadores de Venezuela” from the capital Ezequiel Zamora jurisdiction in the state of Cojedes.
During the community approach, more than 600 people, including children, adolescents, men, women and older adults, received medical care through the support of the Barrio Adentro Mission and the Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC) of the aforementioned municipalities, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Health.
The beneficiaries were able to access general medicine, pediatrics, physiatry, podiatry, immunization services, as well as free medicines. They also purchased food through the Sovereign Field Fair and participated in cultural and recreational activities.
