Ministry of Health develops a full day with the delivery of treatments and health actions in Aragua

A total of 10,200 free medical treatments were provided by the National Public Health System during a comprehensive care day in the Santiago Mariño municipality of the state of Aragua, a deployment that consolidated more than a thousand health actions in the Polvorín sector. This approach provided direct access to pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, geriatrics, ophthalmology, nutrition and general medicine services for the inhabitants of the area.
During the day, the technical teams carried out timely diagnoses and the immediate provision of drugs for the start of free therapeutic cycles, an action that optimized the community health response in order to guarantee the comprehensive well-being of Aragüean families, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Health.
As part of the care, pregnant women received pregnancy kits and multivitamins to ensure the healthy development of the training process.
In addition, the medical staff carried out weight and height control in order to ensure preventive nutritional treatment. In addition, educational sessions focused on healthy habits and disease prevention were held.
On the other hand, the operation offered hairdressing services and the processing of faith of life to provide a complete social response to citizens.
