Ministry of Health inaugurates Gestational Support Room in Zulia

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health inaugurated the first Gestational Support Room in the west of the country, which will operate in the facilities of the Dr. Armando Castillo Plaza Maternity Hospital in the state of Zulia. The headquarters has a service capacity of 300 women per month, within the framework of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission.

The opening day took place with the support of the Deputy Minister of Technology, Regulation and Resources of the Ministry of Health, Jesús Brito, who explained that the room has been renovated throughout its structure with air conditioning and lighting and four spaces for support processes for pregnant women.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, the ward can serve 20 pregnant women a day and its objective is to provide them with comprehensive support during pregnancy and childbirth.
