The Ministry of Health maintains a deployment in 15 Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC) in the state of Yaracuy to prevent the spread of dengue fever in the state.

According to a press release from the Health portfolio, the entity maintains preventive activities for fumigation, abatement and elimination of mosquito vector breeding sites, in addition to holding educational sessions for communities and schools.

In addition, in the above-mentioned text, it was reported that in addition, workshops on the clinical management of dengue are being held for medical personnel and nurses at all levels of care in order to provide tools for an early diagnosis and timely treatment of dengue fever.
