Ministry of Productive Agriculture and Lands delivers agrarian instruments in Cumanacoa

The Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands delivered 14 agrarian instruments to the Cumanacoa parish, Montes municipality in the state of Sucre.

During the assignment, seven of the agrarian instruments were intended for Conuquer women in the municipality to strengthen the ancient practice of Conuco.

In addition, during the first days of March, 15 agrarian instruments were granted to peasants in the Cruz Salmerón Acosta municipality, covering a total area of 14 hectares dedicated to the cultivation of onions, Chinese ocumo, sweet potato, musaceae, lemon, avocado, sweet pepper, hot pepper, eggplant, guava, corn, potatoes, melons, paprika, as well as the breeding of goats and poultry, among others.

The National Land Institute, with the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, is continuing this work to strengthen the agricultural sector in Venezuela through the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T), at the economic apex, which promotes agrarian development in rural communities of the country, a press release reported.
