Ministry of Sport and LVBP refine details for start of season

The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Arnaldo Sánchez, held a coordination meeting with Giuseppe Palmisano and Humberto Oropeza, president and vice-president of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), respectively, to refine the details of the 2024-2025 season. According to reports, the Venezuelan ball will start on October 12.

“We are making the last coordinations so that we can not only have the baseball party, but also the greatest participation in the history of our athletes and the Venezuelan population,” said Minister Sánchez.

For his part, Giuseppe Palmisano highlighted the great rivalry expected between the eight teams in the league and thanked the Bolivarian Government for its support in maintaining important stadiums such as Alfonso Chico Carrasquel in Anzoátegui, José Pérez Colmenares in Aragua and Luis Aparicio in Zulia.

It was also reported that the Bravos de Margarita team will return to its headquarters, the Nueva Esparta stadium, in Porlamar after the recovery work carried out on this sports infrastructure.
