The Ministry of People's Power for Health formalized a strategic agreement with State insurers, with the purpose of supplementing the response offered by the National Public Health System to the surgical needs of the Venezuelan people.
This is a State policy instructed by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, whose sole purpose is to guarantee the right to health of the population, according to a press release from the ministerial portfolio.
Minister Nuramy Gutiérrez explained that this agreement “will allow us to start providing services to our people expeditiously through private clinics that take advantage of the proposal we are making from our insurance companies.”
The State insurers involved in this agreement are Seguros La Previsora, Seguros Horizonte and Seguros Miranda. However, the recruitment and prioritization of patients will be carried out directly through the VenApp of Good Governance 1X10 , and the waiting lists of public health facilities, to ensure that care reaches the most vulnerable communities efficiently.
