MINSALUD's Firefly Plan guarantees house-to-house immunization in the Libertador del Aragua municipality

Within the framework of the National Immunization Plan, the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) team maintains a strategic deployment in the Socialist City of Los Aviadores, in the state of Aragua.

According to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Health (MPPS), the actions are carried out under the supervision of the Single Health Authority, Yosmary Lombano, the guarantor of implementing the Firefly Plan in the parish of San Martín de Porres.

This night approach, which takes place between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, allows us to capture the population that is in their homes at the end of the daily day, ensuring wider and more effective coverage in the state.

The operation prioritizes protection against yellow fever, in addition to completing schemes with vaccines such as toxoid, hepatitis B, pentavalent, polio and SRP, actions aimed at citizens between the ages of 1 and 59, strengthening the epidemiological barrier and the collective well-being of the community.
