The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, launched the National Plan for Regularization and Formalization of Tourism.
The training is aimed at professionals, technicians and officials linked to tourism inspection and control, according to a press release from the Ministry of Tourism.
The Minister stressed the importance of maintaining continuous preparation.
He also highlighted that inspectors act as fundamental players to promote the sector with effective and transparent responses. “The goal is to consolidate trust in tourism services through rigorous verification processes and the prevention of illegal acts in each region,” he said.
This academic program consists of 40 hours that integrate knowledge of tourism legislation, public ethics and administrative procedures. The content includes simulations of real cases and field practices that facilitate the detection of wrongdoing and compliance with international standards.
The training is provided under a mixed modality with face-to-face sessions for Caracas and Miranda, while the rest of the country participates online. This induction guarantees efficient and transparent institutional management that prioritizes the comprehensive protection of tourists during their stay in the country.
