Mintur reactivates Playa El Agua Tourist Boulevard project

With the reactivation of the Playa El Agua Tourist Boulevard project, in the Antolín del Campo municipality of the state of Nueva Esparta, the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, is committed to the continuity of an initiative that directly favors 64 artisans and entrepreneurs, who will have renovated spaces to offer their creations to their own and foreign visitors.

The mayor of the municipality, David Caraballo, thanked the National Bolivarian Executive for this work that generates trust in this tourist area par excellence. “For this tourist, both international, national and local, to come to our state of Nueva Esparta and especially to Antolín del Campo,” he said before the cameras of Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

The works remodel practically the entire beach area, with more than 65 modules for artisans and entrepreneurs, expanding the existing 56 and incorporating parking lots and bus routes, reconstruction of public spaces, bathrooms, construction of sports fields and a bike path to cover the entire El Agua Beach.

Local authorities and businessmen said they were hopeful about the resumption of work on this project, which positions Antolín del Campo as an international tourist destination on Margarita Island.
