In the Portuguese state, an ophthalmological surgical day is being carried out to provide decisive treatment to children and young people who have strabismus and who were captured by the Miracle Mission through the 1x10 of Good Governance.

According to a note released by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the interventions began this Monday and will be carried out this week at the Rafael Azuaje Popular Clinic, in Guanare, to deal with cases reported through the VenApp application and later evaluated by specialists from the social program.

“In Portuguesa, we are in the week of the surgical response for children and adolescents for strabismus,” said the Single Health Authority in the state, Yelitza Ortiz, who reported that patients from all 14 municipalities will be treated free of charge and comprehensively.

He specified that preoperative care, surgery and even postoperative treatment are guaranteed, free of charge, by the Miracle Mission.

The surgical day is the second day carried out by the Miracle Mission in Portuguese to respond to cases of strabismus in children and young people. The first one was carried out in February of this year and closed with the operation of more than 80 patients.
