“Miradas que Conectan” contest will receive short films until August 7

The Embassy of China in Venezuela invited the public to participate in the second edition of the “Views that Connect” Short Film Competition, an initiative that seeks to promote audiovisual creation through productions lasting between one and five minutes.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the reception of works will remain open until August 7. In addition, to be part of the competition, interested parties must post the trailer for their short film on Instagram using the hashtag #MiradasQueConectan and mentioning the accounts @embachinave and @miradasqueconectan.

They should also send the work to the email [email protected] along with their contact details, the title of the short film and a synopsis.

Participants will be able to develop proposals related to topics such as gastronomy, music, tourism, technology, trade, friendship, diplomacy, among others. The full rules of the contest are available through the organization 's information channels.

“We can't wait to see the world through your lens. You have from May 29 to August 7, 2026 to submit your short film and share your talent with us,” said the Chinese diplomatic mission.
