The Bolivarian Government of Miranda state began the comprehensive rehabilitation of the rolling road on the Petare-Guarenas National Highway C, specifically at the height of the El Rayado sector, in the Caucaguita parish of the Sucre municipality.


In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Jaqueline Fanía, and the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, visited the place and highlighted the impact that this intervention will have on the connectivity between the Plaza and Sucre municipalities.


Through a press release, it became known that more than 2,000 tons of asphalt will be placed on a stretch of road that connects to the Sucre municipality.


In this regard, Minister Faria announced that the Ministry of Transportation approved the shipment of 15,000 tons of asphalt for the entire state of Miranda. Of that total, an additional 2,000 tons have already been allocated to permanently complete care in the Caucaguita parish, ensuring that the area is fully recovered.


In addition, he added that in the national paving balance sheet, “the state of Miranda is in third place for placing asphalt in the entire country; first we have Zulia, then Guárico and then Miranda.”


The work directly impacts 3 communes in the area and 8 others indirectly. The organized bases have been responsible for prioritizing critical nodes.


The start of the civil works was accompanied by a day of comprehensive care for the inhabitants of the El Rayado sector. The neighbors had free medical care services, legal advice and recreational activities with face painting for the children in the community.
