Miranda Government has placed more than 5 thousand tons of asphalt on the Pan-American highway

Road demarcation is also being carried out in the spaces that have been serviced; thus ensuring the comprehensive improvement of the said road artery

About 5,500 tons of asphalt have been placed along the Pan-American highway during the first half of the year, according to information issued by the Miranda government.

According to the information, the activity is part of the actions contemplated in the Road Maintenance Plan being carried out by the Government of Miranda to provide care to the population of the southern axis and ensure the passability of the area.

The Deputy Governor of Los Altos Mirandinos and Secretary of Law to the City, Francisco Garcés, explained this Monday that the work began at kilometer 14 to 16, in the direction of Los Teques, where 2,115 tons of asphalt material were placed.

Subsequently, the work was carried out from kilometer 16 to 14, in the direction of Caracas, applying 1,650 tons of pavement. While for km 18.5 it was 240 tons.

He explained that on the main road artery that connects the capital Mirandina with the state of Aragua, about 1,300 tons of asphalt have been arranged from km 34 to km 36, in the direction of Las Tejerías; both with machinery and with manual patching.
